Women of 1940s photoshoot
Rexburg Flight Museum
Taking pictures of these beautiful women in the Rexburg flight museum has been a great pleasure. Just like with the men’s photoshoot, I used a lot of different lighting with all of these pictures. With this photoshoot I specifically wanted to make them look more like pictures of the 1940s. To edit these pictures I used Lightroom and Photoshop. With Lightroom I added more light where I wanted and got rid of some things I didn’t want to display on the photos and with Photoshop I did some nice sharpening touches, backgrounds and etc. During this photoshoot I learned how to position models with the props and how to work with the lighting outside and inside of the buildings. I believe that these themed photoshoots drive creativity in me and get me excited for new ideas!

I was inspired by some other creators before the shoot. Here’s one of the sites that inspired me: http://www.fubiz.net/en/2016/04/27/1940s-fashion-photography/
Vlad! You did a great job at this photoshoot! You mention wanting to edit the pictures accordingly to the era of 1940’s/WWII, and I think you were able to do just that, so nice work! I think my favorite picture is the second one. I love the lighting and dramatic nature of the image.
Emilee also did a great job with her portraits from the fashion shoot @ http://www.emileewright.com/photography/portraits/
I’m honestly so envious of your unique style and skill in photography, especially the lighting techniques you use! You definitely have an eye for detail I really admire! My favorite has got to be the second picture. It’s so moody and the you even captured some rain and bokeh! I would not have thought to capture that angle. Great, great job.
You and Kade (http://www.kadeatwood.com/the-one-thing-every-photo-needs-a-story/#comment-7) both have some awesome storytelling skills!
