Monochrome Photography Essentials or what I like about it
Monochrome photography is an amazing way to show detail and lighting. It’s important to follow some rules when you are going for monochrome photography, in other words you need to follow some monochrome photography essentials. When I was preparing to do this photoshoot, I went and made a research about it. This article by Photographymad really helped me. It talks about 5 monochrome photography essential tips. In short, you have to look for: shapes and forms, contrast, lighting, pattern and textures. All these things will make your photography amazing.
In my project I was focused on 3 types of monochrome photography: Portraits, Landscape/Fine Art and Details. These three topics helped me be focused on those 5 tips and I got some pretty good interesting shots. Here you can see them in the order described above.

This is a really cool exploration of different color grading! U didn’t get a chance to make any cool black and white photos this semester, but I love the drama and emotion it can add to portraits. Your little girl is so cute as well!
