Where to go at Grand Teton National park to take a good photo
Grand Teton national park is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. It’s been a great trip to see all of the lakes, mountains and animal life. A lot of these pictures of the Tetons were taken using a tripod, because I did a lot of bracketing, so that I can get both the skies and the foreground. I’ve spent quite a lot of time getting good angles. The weather was not super good in the morning, but then when rain stopped and some sun started to show up, the Tetons started shining their beautiful light on us. Of course a most of these shots were edited in photoshop to give the mountains a more pleasant and inviting look. For all of the colors I used color lookup feature. I hope that you would enjoy my shots! Under individual images at the bottom, I will give some directions and information about the places where to go to take those photos.

This photo was taken by the Leagh Lake. It’s a super famous place because you can see the Teton mountains and because of the lake you can get a super nice reflection. The original photo was not as good, so I’ve sharpened it a little and played around with the levels in Photoshop.
This is the Jackson lake. In order to get this photo I had to climb down to capture a low angle with rocks. Of course the photo did not look like this in original. I added some cool lookup presets to it in Photoshop and sharpened it a little.
This is a Schwabaker Landing. I really awesome place where you can get a nice forest reflection with the Tetons in the back. The Teton mountains are huge there, but you have to come when there are not many clouds there, otherwise you would get a photo like this one where most of the mountains are under clouds.
This is a famous place with barns in the park. Everyone goes there. Here’s where it is: Grand Teton National Park Barn.
This one is actually in Yellowstone on the way down to Grand Teton park. It’s right in the beginning of the Yellowstone park. It’s really cool because it’s got some parts of trees laying in the feels and you can also see bisons there.
This location is not far away from the barns. Actually if you would drive from the barns down the road, you would see it. It’s not anything special without that epic lighting, but when I was driving by I saw it and couldn’t not stop and take a picture.
This is a Jackson lake again. I really liked this because of the tree in the foreground and the mountains and the sky in the background.
Wow Vlad!
You got some stellar pictures on our class trip! You have done an amazing job with your edits too! Creative and tasteful! I especially love the first one with the gorgeous reflection!
You know what would be so cool, is if you sent some of these to the Grand Teton National Park Services to see if they would want to feature any of your shots on their website or something!
