Couples of 1940s photoshoot
Rexburg Flight Museum
This has been a great creative process for me. Shooting pictures of couples is a cool experience because you can have them interact with each other rather than with the camera or props. During the couples photoshoot we used the fog machine to give some interesting effects. You can see it on the last picture. It’s so amazing what you can do with a little bit of creativity. During most of these 1940s couples shots I’ve used more than one source of lighting to get an awesome light up faces and other details. In post production I also player around with “color pickup” tool to get the right color for the picture. Most of them have more than one of those filters, because I wanted to make the color of the pictures match 1940s era.
I was inspired by these pictures on Pinterest for this couples photoshoot: https://ru.pinterest.com/pin/304485624778078019/?lp=true
In my opinion this picture describes the 1940s couples photography the most, because of the colors that I’ve used and the way they look.
Vlad! I love the coloring you did! You really pulled off that old vintage look! Check out Cory’s portraits! Great photos! https://www.koryburrows.com/portraits-with-a-story/#comment-11
